Model Creek School will have a new 7th and 8th grade teacher for the coming year.

Lewis Theokas, who goes by "Mister T", has been a teacher in the Dysart Unified School District for eleven years. During that time he has taught, social studies, reading, math and science. He and Marcie, his wife of 25 years, moved to Arizona in 1993 from New Hampshire and he says "I still have a little of that New England accent so don‘t hold it against me if I drop the occasional "R". They have lived in Peeples Valley for nearly six years and split their time between PV and Phoenix.

Mr. T has coached either boys baseball or girls softball every year as a teacher and has especially enjoyed the challenges of teaching middle school. He stated, "These are the years of transition from childhood to young adult-hood and it is great to be a part of that. I look forward to bringing my experience, energy and love for learning to Model Creek School this year and in the years to come."
